I'd like to black out the canopy on my 89. Any advice?

I did my old 70" this way. All I did was mask off areas that you did not want over spray. Then used black model spray paint, then sprayed the inside of the canopy. Worked really well, just don't spray to thick or it will run.

+1 What he said.

They have model car window tint in the little Testors spray cans, but it's impossible to have it go on evenly. I ended up with so many coats that it is just solid black now. May be faster just to get black to begin with. The paint in the little Testor cans comes off with isopropyl if you screw up. If you have trouble with it sticking it helps to rough up the inside of the canopy with scotchbite.
