I wouldn't worry about little jitters. They are just looking for center.

You are going to LOVE the 78! I'm having a ball with mine. I'm a RE entrant after about 15 years. Took me a year to get into gas but I'm hook line and sinker. Really want one with smoke. I know all the cons but seeing that stuff billow out is worth it. Eventually! Good luck with your 78.

BTW. I'm running a pipe now and just switched to ultra 40:1 mix. Ripping a lam 20x6 Xoar and hover cf 20x6. Tried a 20x8 Xoar sword- too much. Have to try Matt's Falcon 20x7 tomorrow. The DLE 35 is awesome with plenty of pull. It is starting cold with choke 3 flips pop and 2 flips, hot- 1-2 flips. Just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks for the replies. After too much analysis I pulled the trigger on the Savox 1270s. Nothing like overkill! Just got my shipping notice! Clearing the build table now!

FEDEX sent me notification the 40CC is on the way. Savox servos, servo extensions, Fromeco Wolverine are all enroute. Sounds like it's time to start the build. :bouncy:

If/when my servos jitter, no matter how little, i believe it to always be a concern.

A little jitter can turn into a violent flutter.

I lost a plane to jittery servos. They went from a little jittery to fluttering and blowing my tail off, in a mater of a week. (RIP 104 Extra):crying:

I think most people are using the power160. I think the power180 is pretty new, maybe developed for their new Inverza.

Well, I was talking about the kind of jitters you only see on the ground and very minor. I watched Enterprises Laser tail servos (new spektrum digitals) going nuts on the ground (sounded like a gas or glow motor in the distance!). Then we noticed it in the air. Now that does warrant attention. I'm sure he has posted Horizon's uncharacteristic not so great response on the laser thread.

GRYO,

Did you get any more flight time on those 1270TG's? Really looking forward to hearing what your going to say about them!!!!!
