Beautiful job brother. Looks awesome.
Must say that propeller really does have a mirror shine.Prop polishing!! It’s been a few days, My lacquer has had time to set and fully gas. Used 2000 wet sand paper, followed by Meguiars scratch x 2.0, followed by more sanding, 3m ultrafine foam polishing pad with more buffing compound watered down and presto! I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked.

We will see how it holds up in the air. I will need to balance it now.

Is not a museum piece but a fun project, and hoping the silver and orange help show where that big prop is spinning.

That's a bummer. My guess is it needed a little more cure time.Prop is now perfectly balanced. I have an issue. I left the prop the neoprene sheath and it now feels almost rubberish, and left marks/blemishes on what was a beautiful hard coating. Wondering what’s up? Compound says it’s safe for all finishes. Doubt it’s that because it was washed afterwords. Did the paint not gas enough? Left in the cover, allowed it to soften? Darnit.
