The more I fly an airplane, the more familiar I am with it. I've flown it a few dozen times now, so I'm fairly acquainted with it now.

Now just to work on rolling LEFT... :eek:

Hehe... I learned to roll left first and have been learning to roll right. I can do it pretty good now... but still have low confidence with a big plane down low. Every once in a while I lose sync with the plane and have to bail. Lots of sim practice...

When I originally learned rollers on the simulator it was to the right. After I started rollers on a real plane I found I was better going left :confused: To this day I'm better rolling right on the sim and but left with a real plane, how weird is that?

Nice flying Xpress, loved that inverted elevator right to the deck.

I can roll left, it's just there's a lot less refinement compared to rolling right. Rolling to the right I know exactly what needs to be done whenever the need arises, but rolling to the left it's more of locking the airplane into a rhythm rather than being adaptive to the inputs. Simulator is the same for me, but I need to get on it more and practice more.

Rolling to the right is fighting against the torque of the prop so the throttle inputs are a bit different. So aside from doing opposite stick inputs you have to deal with that as well. It is a challenge to get it all together and just takes time.
