Many new vendors popping up everywhere that offer the new clear/light three line fuel tanks. I even purchased one for penny's on the dollar from some yahoo on ebay. They are just so much easier to install and I love the large mouth to access building my own fuel lines and clunk. I know there may be a few that disagree with me, but I also use a 50 oz. tank on all my 150cc and up monsters. Yes, you will probably land with over a 1/3 to nearly half tank of remaining fuel, (depending on how much you are mashing the gas pedal) but I like the ease and peace of mind "knowing" I have enough gas in the event of an emergency and can not get my plane on the ground in a hurry. Allowing for a few go arounds. And honestly speaking, if a 150cc or larger airframe can not support the extra weight of fuel, then there is seriously something wrong. Just my thoughts, rule of thumb. 150cc=50 ounce, 100cc=28 or 32 ounce. And depending on airframe and flying style, 50cc=16 to 20 ounce. 20cc to 35cc=10 to 16 ounce. An electric fueling system really doesn't take that long to fill or drain. I never get in a hurry anyway. LOL

Everything is in, functional, end points set as well as the rates. Now I can take it back apart turn the fuse over and add the canister supports. Do not have a clue as to when I will get it outside with some fuel much less the maiden. It seems like the more I get done the more I need to do, oh well, time will tell.

Ha! A month and a half to do a 30hr assembly, that is less than an hour a day, nah did not take long? LOL.
I also think it is a real nice scheme and definitely should be easily visible in the air, of course the size will aid in that. As for maiden, it is ready now, I just prefer to run them once before heading to the field. This one should be even better than the other one as it is larger, larger is in a way easier. The weight and power equates the same to the wing loading between the two. I love the little one so I should love this one, but, we all know how theories go. I have a small front porch to build but will try to get it outside for a run in the next day or two. Then I can load it in the trailer and somewhere find a free minute, or 180 of them, and go get the maiden done. Be real nice if all this could happen this coming week.

Just the rear canister support. A 1/4" ply cross member is drying now, then I can bolt in the support and that will be it. Done! I'll post a pic when it is in.

It'll do for now, especially considering I am thinking of quitting the build side and just enjoy what I already have.
