Yep... some of those app tips are like 6" long and take 2-3 full trigger depressions before you get to use any of it. AND, you have to buy the application tips!

Now, they do have their uses. I have a BVM bobcat that needs occasional reinforcing in hard to reach places. Perfect use.

The horizontal stabs, elevator and rudder hookups are done. I also bound the RX and did some programming.

This is pretty basic stuff, but I wanted to show a good use of the bare trim iron. Cut the opening for the servo arm a little small, cut slits in the curved section and use the trim iron (on low) to iron down the excess.

No large area washer on the ball link attaching to the servo arm? Might be a nice piece of mind. Keep up the good work! I really enjoyed my build thread on the 73", curious to see your power setup for the 93"

Ok, so the pipe mount plate pushed the pipe too high for the 90mm drop header to work. So, I scrapped the light ply and cut my own out of carbon fiber. I happened to have a piece laying around so after some measuring, cutting and sanding, viola!!! (FYI, always wear an air filter/mask when cutting/sanding CF. I heard CF dust isn't good for you to inhale)

Now, all I have left to do on the exhaust is secure the carbon plate and mount the header!

After those pieces are finished I'll jump on mounting the ignition, throttle servo and fuel system so I can mount the cowl, prop and spinner.

Got a little done this morning. I finished the pipe tunnel attachments, installed the throttle servo/hookups, installed the ignition and started laying out electronics for best placement. Because the canopy comes off so easily, I'm thinking about installing the switch and fuel/smoke dots inside the fuse. We'll see.
