Anybody interested in a P-47 Build?

Great thread Gotta love a good build thread.

A photo with the extra balsa added for the center section. Looks like I just tossed pins on it! Feel better about it now. Skinned the bottom so now it's fully sheeted.

Glued the elevator leading edge to the stab with a couple drops of CA. This will be removed later. One of my favorite tools the razor plane was used to level it out. Then the elevators were glued to that with Titebond.

Now I put blocks on the stab and elevator tips and the insides of the elevator. I use the planer to get these close to shape then sand.

The actual P-47 elevator has a curve to it. I blew up a scale drawing and cut and glued to match.

Good keeping me on task haha. Heat has been killing me here but fall is on the way...I hope!

Put aside the stab to work on the fin and rudder. Got it framed up.
