I did not get to the Laser yesterday, other than going and peeking at it occasionally, by the time I called it quits on the shop I was exhausted. But today is a nasty day for being outside, there is water falling from the sky. So I am working, slowly, on the Laser. My plan is to install everything that has a designated position first, then install the engine and see where everything else need's to be placed for balance. First up is the wings, they are pretty straight forward and an easy task. But being a thread is useless without pics, and ya'll asked for it, here ya go. AJ calls for removing the covering over the bay but I like to wrap it down, in, and under, as much as possible to stop wind from lifting it. Insert the servo, use a servo screw to lightly press a dot, drill at that dot, soak the are with ca, install servo with screws.

That's what I do too. Only difference is I install the servo screws then remove servo/screws and add a few drops of thin ca to the holes.

After everything is fitted I pull all the screws then reinstall with the servo screws get wood glue and the machine screws getting thread lock.

I have spent the last 1-1/2 or so hours calling in search of some local epoxy supply to no avail, so I ordered some. The wings are done until the epoxy and a dual servo connector gets here.

You can never post enough you be surprised how much you learn and sometimes you do the same thing but it is easier to do it another way.

A little tape, a little epoxy, and bam! the wings are done. Did the stabs while I was at it, next up, the fuse...….
