Here is running the new ZDZ today for the first time. It's easy starting. 4 flips pop and choke off with 4 more flips and it's pulling the plane.

I wanted to post some pics of the custom mufflers Joe is selling at ZDZ USA. These are really nice quality and do not require cutting of the cowl on tight planes like extra's etc. These are not garage made. The craftsmanship is beautiful. Strong to say the least also.

Yes Joe but only on the Extra 300. Soon he will be offering a new baffle system for all is planes. I have a picture some where of new baffles he is now making that can be purchased to fit cowls on different planes. I will try and find it tomorrow and post it.

Saved the best for last and finally got around to the wings. The geometry was a bit different than the standard wing. The servo on the end is rotated due to the wing being so thin. The servo wire for the outer servo exits forward of the wing tube so I couldn't use a multi pug for all three servos. The wing spars are solid in the core so I didn't want to drill through them for the end servo wire.

Not sure how the ailerons will react in different flight situations so I put them on a three position switch until I get the characteristics sorted out.

I have not weighed it yet but these wings are without a doubt feeling heavier than the standard Pilot Extra 300 due to the extra strengthening.

God those are HUGE ailerons...!!!! (Never heard her say that before )
