Maiden in the books last night. Flew very well but I had it setup a little too neutral for the maiden - did not drop at all inverted.
Will finish sorting out the CG this weekend. Seems to need a touch more right thrust (easy to add with a couple of washers) as it required some low-mid right aileron input in upright harrier (left wing dropped a touch). The Elevator maneuver did not show this tendency so I'm leaning toward thrust line.

Ailerons and elevators hinged (5-18-2016). I used the trick learned from Tseres and used a hole punch to create some glue masks for the hinge points. Hinge holes were taped over, hinges lightly sanded, hinge point oilded and finally installed with gorilla glue. I taped the surfaces in a fully deflected position while the glue dried.

i noticed those little glue masks in a post by @Tseres also, really good idea. taping the surfaces deflected like that is a good idea too, probably helps to keep the hinge lines straight also.
nice job with the build, looks like it flies pretty well, keep us up to date as you get it figured out.

Thanks @Bartman . I stole those buiding ideas (hinge mask and taped deflection) from @Tseres's build thread. Great tricks that certainly helped out. Hopefully if the rain holds off, I'll get to thank Tseres at this weekend's gathering at the AMA.
Now with the maiden in the books, time to add some graphics. Hope to install prior to the weekend.

A second maiden video courtesy of a club member that filmed through on a 'hat cam' has surfaced.

Added two washers to the left side stand-offs for a little right thrust and and some vinyl graphics to dress up this bird. Really flying nice now. Had it up in 14-20mph crosswinds and it performed great and the graphics popped in the air.
