BJ Craft Episode

Alright! Well I got into the shop today and got a little bit more work done.

I went ahead and built all of my pushrods. Using Carbon rod and threaded ends I glued them into each other, taped them to keep from separating from each other. I'll let all of those set for 24 hours.

Next I installed the rudder servo (Major pain in the butt). I ended up using a throttle servo mount to a gas plane to mount it. That required a little bit of cutting and fitting, but it's strong and looks great :)

More updates to come!

Thanks
Brian

OKay here we are again!

I was able to get into the shop again today and get a little more work done.

I finished off all of the pushrods, connected all the servos and centered them. They seem to be very strong and look cool with the carbon ;)

Next, I drilled the gear and installed it, I then assembled the wheel pants and slapped them on! :)

The next step in the whole process will be to mount the motor and i'm not 100% sure how i'll go about that at this point.. As you can see, I cut a template for cooling then cut out the front intake :)

All is coming along well with more to come!

Thanks
Brian

Brian, I think read the other day that you got the maiden done... any cool updates or info/pics from the rest of the build?

Where do you even order these from? I went to the BJ Aircraft website, and it has lots of images, but no pricing info. I am guessing $2500 for a Fuse Kit.
