Beautiful indeed. But why not go vinyl for the stripes with clear over it?

I already had the colors on hand from a previous build and have no way to cut vinyl. Since I retired my time is free!!!

Finally got the clear on. The next time I will paint the strips first, then the white and right to clear. I wasted a lot of time masking each strip. Glue in the side window and windshield and give them a clear coat and final assembly can begin.

Both windows are glued in. Used pairs of magnets to hold the windows in place while the 560 canopy glue dried. Just found out that the grandsons wouldn't be here until 11:30 tomorrow, just might get the windows cleared before they arrive.

Look's great. Are there any access hatches on the bottom?

The left side window and the firewall bolts on, the bottom is clean. I plan to install the radio gear behind the firewall. The left side window is access for the spar through bolts.

Clear coated the windows this morning and spent the rest of the day sanding and buffing. Used a 7" buffer where I could on the fuselage and the buffing pads from a headlight restoration kit for the small stuff. Just might be done buffing tomorrow, one can only hope.

I believe I used a mini hand buffer (air powered) on my last paint job. A cheap central tools product, it worked fine on a hobby sized project.
