IMAC Carden Pro 124 Build, My Dream Plane

I really appreciate the kind responses. I would like to see a 50cc size kit available for someone like me that doesn't have the money for a bird as big as a 124 Pro. There probably isn't a big market for it as Hangar 9 has an ARF available but it would be nice for some of us that are wanting to try a Carden.

T-88 epoxy has a looong working and cure time and is very strong once cured. I used it on the parts mentioned above. The EZPoxy resin system is what I used to laminate the wings etc. It can be rolled on very thin and still works great!

The big deal with epoxy and me is that I like alcohol soluble (I use paint stripper which is methyl alcohol - methanol if you will) ones that make cleanup easy. They also don't smell as bad as the "other" type! And, methyl alcohol doesn't take all of the skin oils out of your fingers like acetone does!

Rcpilot82 sells some 50cc short kits and I just picked up a midwest cap232 kit NIB from a buddy. If you look on midwest website they still have a few left in stock in the clearance section. $230 for a 80" wingspan cap 232. Designed to have up to a 45cc motor on it but I'm going all out and throwing a DLE 55 on mind when I build it.

Ok so I'm doing this with my phone so not sure if the pictures will load up. I have the LG plate and the 1/2 inch Har wood gluing. I'll post a picture later, in the meantime I had to get a little creative to join the two longerons together as it requires two pieces. I this by hand the last time and it sucked, took me for ever to get them square to each other. Typing on the cell phone is taking forever, here is the picture I hope.

Thank You, orthobird, I have lots of pictures from the weekend, I just didn't have time to post them. I just finished both fuse sides and they are like a mirror image of each other, I built the second one on top of the first one. More details and pictures tomorrow.
