they both have threaded holes but I will post another picture with explanation, in a short whileSo I picked up some 10-32 threaded rod to make myself some of those clamps like you have. Just to be sure I'm reading your drawing correctly only one of the two aluminum pieces has threaded holes and the other has a through hole at the bottom and a hole only drilled half-way in the top.

I know what you meen about teaching. I have been an electrician for the past 10 years. When it comes to running conduit I can teach you all day long.
