Everything is reinforced on the bird. If you have seen the Wenatchee huckfest vids, you will see us spanking all our birds hard. We will be at the Lodi Huckfest. And for those who want some stick time, look me up.

Watched the video. Yup, looks like it can take it Are those production birds? Since I won't be able to see one up close and can't see in the pics, can you speak about what's done to the wings?

Looking at the wing this morning i noticed that i followed the taper of the wing so my stripe isn't straight. If i do a second stripe i think it would look weird since it would have to be at an angle as well. I'm going to re-do the first one to make it straight then add a second stripe.

Lots of bling from Aztech showed up today I should be able to get the build moving along nicely this weekend.

Got some more work done. Added some Secraft canopy locks and wing bolts for that added bling factor. I also installed the LG fairings, as you can see in the pics I added some black neoprene tubing around the fairings. I also added a second stripe to one wing panel. I'd like to add the stripes to the other wing and elevatos this weekend. I'm hoping I get my receiver tomorrow so I can begin the servo installation and setup. This will be the first plane I set up with my Futaba 8FG Super.

Wing stripes look great, and the bling is a nice touch. I bet those wing bolts make life much easier!

Got the ventilation holes cut out.

I also installed the control horns on the elevators. First I test fit the horns in the pre cut slots then I marked around the horn with a pen. After that I pulled the horns back out, scuffed them with sandpaper, and cut the covering from where I marked with the pen (being careful not to cut into the wood). Now I mixed my 30 minute epoxy and filled the slots, pushed the horns back in and cleaned up any extra that oozed out with a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol. The horns line up with the hinge lines perfect so they won't need any adjustments.
