How on earth can these entry level RC companies ship so cheaply? I hope that the big three companies do research and find out what they are doing?

Many of the "other" companies use bus lines for shipping and that will save you money. You can go to the Post office and UPS websites and put in the box size and weight and see for yourself it's expensive to ship. I know as we always have packages being shipped to the grandkids. Always ship to a commercial address if you can as that will save you some money.

Like I said... they should check into their fulfillment vendors to make sure they are getting the best possible deal.

You see that's what I'm talking about. $100 should be the max cap. Flat rate for $100 on 35cc and up. Like I said, I got my last 2 box 35cc shipped to my house for $69 bucks. It didn't come on a bus, it was Fed Ex I believe. I really wish there was a better way. Shipping companies are eating up a ton of RC parts money.

Over 1/3 the cost of the plane was shipping, That is too much. Oh and why on earth would it matter if it's shipped to a house or McDonald's a block away? Another scam to charge extra. If you haven't noticed, I'm kinda frustrated, Ah fooey!

Dude, you're not alone. I cancelled the 78" extra id ordered when I saw the shipping costs. I've got 60cc planes shipped for 2/3rds the cost of one 35cc's shipping

If they don't get a handle on it, I promise this will be my last one from them. I was going to buy the PAU 540, but shipping was a problem. I went with the EF because this will fly good with my DA 50. But now that I see what I paid, I could of sold the DA50' used the shipping money to get the DA-60 and got a bigger plane.

Live and learn. I am still excited, I loved my 64" MSX, I am sure I will love this too. Lastly, had the LA 540 v3 been in stock, things would of been different.

Flew 6 packs today. Wind was straight down the pipe, a great day. I even flew the basic routine today. IMAC is in October, and I just might give it a shot.
