Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

Just ordered an edge for myself.

Can't wait to get it flying.

Just received a box of awesome!!! Hopefully I can build it in January.

Anyone know what size stand offs are needed to run the GP 61?

What props are those of you with the GP 61 running on this plane? I want a prop that will give me good speed, without compromising punch out from hovers.

It looks like Gyro had to prop up to a 24x10.

He also ended up using 30mm Standoffs

I used 30mm, but still needed a couple of washers. Id say 32 or 33 would be better.

I am dialed into work right now and so video play back is super slow. DA70 in a 88" edge.... wow I bet it has some major power! I will check it out this afternoon...

Anyone know how to make the rudder removable? I'm really considering getting the 88" Edge but not having a removable rudder is kind of bummer. I think robart Next question is engine...DLE61, DA60 or DA70? Thanks!

I'll take some photos and document my mod of the 104" extra rudder to be removable, as the procedure is the same.
