I like 'em "BIG"!
Got a few things done today. Sticker bling showed up for the Edge.....not too little, not too much.

I tackled the Extra and it got:
- New landing gear
- New gear cuffs
- Repaired front section from F-1 to gear plate
- Fabricated bottom plate with low pressure lip and vent hole
- Made new standoff blocks and mounted engine
- Re-mounted rudder and went over all fuse covering with gun and iron.

Test fit wings for first time since covering!!!:dancing-chicken:
Very very nice Terry....

Hey Eric, how do you like the GP61? Is it as much a beast as the larger GP powerplants?
The GP61 pulled it around pretty darn well. I liked it, but had a chance to trade for an MVVS 80. I put the 80 on it and can't wait to try it this summer. Should be a blast.

Been reading a lot of good things about MVVS.

Getting close. The Extra is down to wings and cut cowl. The edge got some hinged tail surfaces, servos, arms and all set up in radio. EME 70 is installed and ready to rock. Fuel system is installed complete. Booma battery share switch is installed. Throttle servo is installed and set up. Few other tidbits. Pretty much cut cowl, install ignition and set up wings.

These couple will be ready to rock in a few days so I can move on to wrap up my Viper:fist_pump:

Terry who's tailwheel are you using? Looks nice
What are you using to connect the tail wheel arm to the rudder arm springs or silicone tubing ?

I used an Ohio superstar tailwheel on this one. I use J&J almost exclusively but the edge is just a bit small and with my rudder servo where it's not designed to be I thought I'd save an extra ounce. I use springs, never done the silicone method.

Had to push a crap ton of snow at home, went to shop......push a crap ton more of rock hard snow. I took an hour and got the cowl cut for the edge and cleaned up the shop for work tomorrow. Then when I got home, friggin snow blew in again so another half hour on the 4-wheeler pushing that out:gnashing:. Screw it I'm going to spend the rest of the evening watching a football game I don't really care about;)
