That looks great!

I always tear a plane completely down, even if I think it is hopeless. Usually, when you get it apart, you'll find that the damage is not near as bad as you thought. The only exception was a H9 Twist that had already been rebuilt so many times it weighed twice what it did new. Got shot down by an AWACS plane while flying on an Air Force base. No control at all, it went full throttle into the ground from about 300 feet and there was not an intact piece left! That one went in the trash!

Formers are in!

I like 'em "BIG"!
Here are some more pics.
This is looking really good. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you set your mind to doing something. Bet it is going to fly awesome. I remember doing a couple of rebuilds from many years ago. As Terry mentioned earlier in your thread, they usually fly better once they have been crashed and repaired. LOL....why is that?

I think it flies better because its not new anymore! So you fly it without a care.
Here's some pics from today. Forgot to buy spruce 1/4x1/4 for the stringers. :( thought l had some. Bummer! Need to get some

Thx
Dooinit. The wings are in good shape but they have a few holes in them as they sifted through he trees after the wing came out because I forgot to put the wing bolt in. Man did that suck! for the most part the repairs are minor compared to the fuse.. The stabs were unscathed.
