Been a while but I have been busy! On newer planes the motor box is connected to the wingtube so I added a 1/8th " plywood connection.

So I have an older Aerotech Edge 540 that the wings are messed up. I had an engine throw a prop and the motor departed the plane right through the cowl and the prop went through a wing.

Somehow I managed to save the plane and the engine held on by the sparkplug wires (since replaced the ignition). The engine still runs great on other planes. I've had a wing remade but it doesn't match the orginial wing very well and there are some fuse issues I'd like to fix as well.

I'm thinking of trying to Frankenstein this plane with new wings from PAU or Pilot and since cowls are not made anymore, get one that might work for this plane...(I have a cracked up PAU Edge cowl that I will see if I can modify).
