    Welcome!

3D Frankenstein Edge 540!

It would be great to see if the PAU cowl fits. I bought a car den extra cowl from fiberglass specialties. Haven't gotten it yet but I'm hoping it fits.
That would be a cool thread.

I know that I have to rip out the phenolic in the fuse and replace as the AT tube is thicker than Pilot or PAU and that allows me to ensure the incidence is right as well.

Its a project for a touch later as I have some other builds infront but I want to use my BME100 I have for my FW190 to test fly in this.

BTW....I bought 2 AW 260's about 4yrs ago and did pretty much what you are doing. Though they were both in better shape. I ended up with 2 very good planes. 1 I used for IMAC for a season and the other I sold once repaired/recovered. I ended up losing my 260 to a radio failure when 2.4 first came on the market. I didn't rebuild it again.

Alrighty! Got the cowl in from fiberglass specialties. Its an extra cowl but it fits!!!!

The cowl is from a Carden Extra 300.
I had to drop the engine down an inch to center it which put it right on the thrust line. So it will be interesting to see how it flies.
