It's weird that they said it was the first time since it wasn't even the first time that QuiQue and Chapman did that together. Just playing it up for the crowd I guess. Horizon Air Meet 2012:

It's a first because this was done a at a Full Scale show, not an R/C show and the HH team had to sit in on the FAA pilots' meeting.

I started flying years ago at work inside a hangar at a full scale airport, so with that logic I've probably accomplished all kinds of RC firsts!
