Bartman, can you send me a couple links to the classified you're referring to? I'd like to pickup a spare cowl, set of stabilizers and maybe wings.

in all honesty, you might be better off looking for a second airframe if you want parts. sometimes you can find really good deals with a little poking around

I have one of these as well. I need a cowl but have not put any effort in to finding one.

ok,

Initial attempt at CG, the range is from 4.5" to 5.75" from the leading edge of the wing tip. Front most position (4.5) appears to be tail heavy, middle of the range (4.75) is nose heavy. The balance appears to be very sensitive to minor changes in position within the range.

I took some pictures while I had it assembled. looks mean... I had to clean out the kids play room to put it together.

I believe low wing planes are best to be measured for CG when inverted.....that may make it easier to center in the range but will require an extra set of hands.

We always just picked em up at the wing tips.

thank guys, I tried both right side up and inverted. It looks like I need to move my batteries back. Wondering how much weight all the fasteners on the firewall might added, mighthave made a difference.

As they say, just a little nose heavy is better than tail heavy on maiden if you are in doubt.
