As for the radio, ever since Nall, we were sold. Just haven't scraped up the cash for it yet. Gotta recover from all the traveling costs. Last contest isn't until mid October. Glad to have you guys leading the way and handing down the knowledge to help us fast track to getting a lot of use out of it. The 8FG is just a good fun little radio for Aaron for the time being. Probably fits his hands better than anything else right now.

If anyone is interested in using the JETI MRPM-AC sensor for picking up RPM on gas motors, here are schematic mod's offering two options I received from the manufacturer in the Czech Republic. The ignition module option shown was with the intent of using DA's tach equipped ignition. It uses a 4.7k Ohm resistor minimum 100mW wattage. The other is for the blue hall sensor DA offers to mount to the DA-120. It uses a 1k Ohm resistor. If you have ever noticed the DA-120 has an additional set of tapped holes opposite the red inductive pickup. There you can mount their blue hall sensor. I never liked the idea of JETI's optical MRPM EX. To me trying to mount an optic to read rpm's off the prop as it passes by is just not the best idea. Not to mention trying to figure out how to mount such an animal.

These were MRPM-AC JETI BOX settings I received:

Number of poles - 2
Trigger level - 5000 RPM
Time Delay - 1.0s
Gear ratio - 1.0:1

I never received an answer on what to do with the n100W setting if anything. I have built the version for the tach equipped ignition module. When I finish my 3DHS Slick I'm going to try it out.

What I do miss on the Jeti transmitter is starting a timer in a preset stick position. I used to do that on my Futaba. 2 timers on my throttle that would start at a programmed stick angle.
Any suggestions?

Hey Joe, can you explain to me how to set up knife edge mixing? In my old radio, I could specify a rudder direction. However, on the DS-16 it seams as though a Rudder to Aileron mix will mix in the ailerons no matter what direction you're flying. I saw a few posts about setting up 2 mixes, one for left rudder and one for right rudder. Then you make the mix curve flat on the side you don't wish to have the mix. I tried this and it didn't work, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any advice would be appreciated.

Let me know if you figured it out. If not I'll explain. It's not that logic and I hope they'll change it with the next software update.
