My build last year. 1/3 Ritchey Rich plan Clipped wing Jtec short kit, DLE 111 V4, JR servos, A123 Batts. AUW 26LBS Bad A$$

What size prop are you using?

Prop size: 27-10 xoar with no ground clearance problems whatsoever. I think I used 4.5 or 5" wheels. Its like putting on the brakes when you come off the throttle. It lands scary slow with a slight headwind.

Question for Rich, Kork, Al or Kevin. Got started on the wings today and I am wondering if you used 3/32" sheeting or even 1/8" ?

To be honest I don't remember but I got a list from the plans that called out for all of the wood to order for the build, other than the kit from Jtec.
Did you get the list with the plans?

The plans call for 3/32" but I was wondering if anyone decided to modify this.

3/32 sheeting works great. Try to use medium grade. Mine has held up with no prob.
