Finished painting and trimming one of the wing fairings. I used some neoprene fuel line split down the middle to trim the edge.

Wow, this thing is coming along very nicely. Looks great!

I know Kevin.....I have a "thing" about keeping my workshop clean. I have been known to clean it BEFORE I begin working in it. I just cannot concentrate if things are cluttered and unorganized.

Finished painting and trimming the other wing fairing. Pretty happy with they way they turned out.

Spent this weekend painting the inside of the cabin and also made some progress on covering the fuse. So far I have the bottom and the top covered. Hope to cover the sides next weekend.

Finished covering the fuselage today. Next up is attaching the tail pieces.

Still undecided as to whether I will use covering for the stripes on the fuse side and wing leading edges or paint. View attachment 13569

Some more photos of my work over the weekend. I ended up covering the wing fairings with Ultracote because the paint kept flaking off even though I used etching primer first.

Thanks Al. It's coming together nicely. Waiting for some decent weather to do some painting of the cowl and wheelpants. Painting is not my strong suit so I may ask a buddy to do it for me. I am undecided as to whether I will use Ultracote or paint for the stripes on the fuse side and wing leading edges.
