Very nice @stangflyer BadAzz
Thank you Donnie. I can't believe it is coming together as it is. It has been a lot of work and still a lot yet to do. But come heck or snowy weather, I am determined to get it done this month. Covering on the other hand may not happen until December. I think I have something formulated in my head for scheme. Will just have to keep ya'll in suspense a little while longer.

After putting in another 12 hour day at work, I helped my daughter out with some household repairs. She and her husband are quite capable but Daddy likes to feel needed now and then. Besides, after four little grandsons, she is finally going to give Grampa his first granddaughter in March. Gotta keep an eye on that little girly. Hee hee....

I did manage to spend a little while with the Pitts this evening. I have one of the top wing tips framed and sheeted. Now just waiting for the glue to set so I can remove the edge clamps and sand the radius. I have one wing tip left to build and then it is back to the fuse for some finish up building. I have no photos this evening, but will try to get some posted tomorrow after I have a chance to work on that last wing tip.

5 a.m. comes pretty early so I'm outta here for tonight. More to come soon.

OMG, I thought I was old. . . . . .. Congratulations, Old Man.:yesss:
Thanks David. Really looking forward to the newest edition. My first born girls' first born girl. How exciting.

Sorry everyone, no photos to post today. Got home to check out the finished up top wing tip. For whatever reason I can not say, but apparently I forgot to put in one each side mid wing tip rib. Needless to say, I have to cut open the sheeting on both sides and add the rib to get the sheeting to lay in with the correct curvature. From the leading edge back to about 1/3 cord the tip is flawless. From 1/3 back to 2/3 of the cord it is quite odd looking. No curvature. UGH! From 2/3 back to the trialing edge, looks great. Oh well, just a minor set back. Just not feeling too spry tonight. I may have to put it off until Sunday, (day off).

Don't sweat missing the rib, Rob. At least you aren't considering turning your wing into kindling like someone else I know is thinking about doing to his. . . . . :frown:
