I like 'em "BIG"!
Good evening my friends. Not as much time this evening but the same results. Left side is now sheeted and rough sanded. About two and a half hours and I now have a sheeted fuse. :brian-banana:
I forgot about a couple of things. I still need to finish up the hatch, build servo rails and I also want to build a landing gear cover. Since I went this far, might as well give it that little extra touch, right? So covering may have to wait a day or two. But we're on the down hill side now guys.
:woohoo!:

I'll try to get a fully assembled photo in the next couple of days. I also want to get a completed assembled weight before I cover it.

Getting closer!:big_yes:

Looks AWESOME Rob,

I was talking to my Buddy last night who is building one of these and I was telling him about the hatches you made to cover up the hole bottom of the fuse. He told me that he did the same thing you did and made removable covers. He also told me he made a cover for the landing gear as well. I was going to suggest this to you, but as usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short. . . ..

Can't wait to see what you come up with for a covering scheme.:yesss:

Well at least even though a day late and a dollar short, you're here. Right? LOL... Glad you are following along with some really awesome input. Even if it is late. Hee hee:spongebob:

Finally caught up with your build Stang....As everyone has said....REALLY looking good! Nice attention to detail/craftsmanship :fist_pump:
Thank you Earle. I appreciate your comment. I know how anal and OCD to attention to detail you also can be. So I take this as a "HUGE" compliment. By the way, enjoying your rebuild thread. Dang, she be looking good..considering the damage huh?

Looks really, really good Stang!

Did you decide on a trim scheme? I didn't catch if you had yet or not, you gonna try to Proton scheme? ;)
Thank you so much. I am planning to do a final sanding and test fit with a few photos tomorrow. After that, I will start covering with at least the base covering, which will be white. I have two schemes in mind and am leaning very heavily towards one specifically. I have plenty of new unopened rolls of Ultarcote ranging in colors from Pearl Purple, Orange, Silver, Black, White, Pearl Green, Apple Green. So I am sure I can get a good start with what ever I dream up. As for the Proton...oh how I wish I had the skills to duplicate that scheme. In my opinion, that is "Full On Bad Ass"!!! Maybe a variation???

I want to give that Proton scheme a try. I just can't bring myself to tear the covering off of my 35%, it's only a couple of years old and only flown 12 times lol
