Started edge trimming sheeting for the wings tonight. I'm going to try to have some foam bagged over the weekend. Of course that's after I go see my new grandson Saturday!

Well we got to take the MX2 to Nall and let a bunch of guys fly it. It went over very well. We had five or six invitational pilots volunteer to fly it and the overwhelming response was WOW!!! We even had the crew from MX Aircraft take a few laps on it. It was a pleasure getting to meet them

So I am in kinda of dilemma, My plan was to build a new 2.8 MX2 once back for NALL but while there I picked up a new DA200 ( for me not Kevin, he wants a MAG version ) So now it looks like I may build the 3.1 MX2 along with the 2.8 MX2 ( with some help from some friends )
We also have a new project on the bench which we hope to have ready mid summer for flight testing. More info on that as it develops
It looks like it will be a busy summer cutting foam and burning wood with a whole bunch of Monokote after we finish gluing.

Here is a picture of Robert Jesky and Mark Leesburg flying the MX2 at Nall. Robert is 9 and is Andrew"s nephew. Robert is following in his Uncles footsteps.
The other picture is the crew from MX Aircraft. What a pleasure meeting the guys. There shop is about an hour away from us. Guess who's planning a visit!!! Brad with his thumbs up is one of the MX show pilots and not a bad RC pilot!! LOL
