Kit comments recommend assembling with CA glue then strengthen with PVA glue. That might help worth assembling on glass. That or I assemble on wax paper over the glass with wood glue. I've used this Super 'Phatic glue recently with great results. It is very penetrating. PVA is wood glue?

Yes I like that glue a lot. Just hard to get I buy it when ever I can. Good stuff to do sheeting with it.

It doesn’t matter you can just clean it up with a razor blade

I don't want to break the assemblage popping it off the glass. Been there done that.

In the end I decided to try saran wrap. And used wood glue. It worked just fine. The assembly popped off easily.

Added the ply doublers, clamped firmly and started the second side. Time for glue to cure.....

Wing spars are two 3/8 stock pieces glued together x 54"(ish), x 2 spars per wing section x 4 wing sections = 16 pieces at 54" each or 72' of 3/8 stock. Don't want to know what Aircraft spruce would cost but I don't think I want to know.......

I might cut my own.

Impatient as I try to build a spruce stock list I decided to rip some 48" poplar from Lowe's. More impatience as I ripped it on my mini table saw in my basement, full size table saw is at my machining room (other hobby room) at my shop.

The strips came out straight, clean and fairly strong.
