Mini lathe (and mill) discussion.

Nice little machine, just make sure when you start doing some milling you remove the drill chuck and mount the cutting toll into a proper moors taper that is pulled tight with a bolt. The drill chuck will come out if used for milling.

I got a whole box of bits and collets with it.

I want one.......

Seems to be a decent size. Hopefully it will do anything I ever need to do.

It will do anything you want it to do just takes longer to make the part. The only real limit is the size of the part that you can fit under the mill head.

As noted elsewhere I bought a cute little Unimat lathe. Seriously considering making a down payment on a Precision Matthews lathe.

No doubt but we are both employed and have no idea what each other's money situation is. In other words I buy what I want to, so does she. And rc planes are a fairly cheap hobby so that helps.
