Ok so this is my first attempt at desiging a slab. been consulting with Whtbronco and [MENTION=264]Goofy[/MENTION] (a couple of my probro buddies) on it for a few months now. So here we go. A Profile Cub

weight Hoping to get it around 16oz but as long as I keep it at no more than 20 it should still 3D fine just wont have as much pull out of a hover.

the first pic is of plans I found to get my basic outline of of the Cub fuse. From there I started changing things up a little here and a little there. This is V1 mind you and things will change on the next one.
I'm going with the Lamyak 15 wing making just a slight mod to it so it will be removable. Making it removable serves two purposes. If I don't like the way the lam wing flys on it I can build a wing with a different airfoil without building a new fuse. Also I'm hoping to get it done before Nash at which point I will ship it to whtbronco to take with him and whore it out. If this happens I want as much feedback (good and bad) from anyone who flys it so I know where to start with changes to improve how it flys.
I built a sample section of my removeable wing Idea and sent it to whtbronco so he can share his thoughts on it. I believe he said he will be takign it with him to Nash as well. I think this method could lend itself well to a biplane design if one wanted removable wings on it.
It will have wingstruts. I think it will fly without them but prolly wont survive to much hucking without them.
The wing sadle is a sammich of 3/16" balsa core with 1/32" birch ply sides.
I have a Carbon arrow shaft beign used as the tube and I have to say for as light as the fuse is it is actually really strong.
It will be value hobbies tranny yellow, I will be giving it some either blue/white or red/white checkers along the bottom, as well as using some left over hobbyking dark blue to give it a cub lightening bolt down the side and maybe "go full CJ" and put some N #'s on the tail.
Let me know what you guys thoughts and opinions are. I have thick skin so bring it on. In the end I want this to be a great design that some bro's may be interested in but I want it to be as good as possible before offering plans.
