Engine fits I believe. Kept staring at the cowling and decided it actually might work. A few minutes cutting and it fits.

Throttle servo thoughts tonight and I run into this mystery box. Unopened from 3 years ago, turns out these were for a science project for my son. We used regular servos on that project and I forgot about these. 2 are continuous rotation and the other is a boat anchor.

The dang throttle arm is in a tough location. After multiple potential positions including hacking my tank shelf in several areas I think I have a throttle servo location. I tried here but couldn't find a servo location.

I often have to put a jog in the throttle rod to get around the tank. Your solution looks good.

Ah ha........ The problem is unless this plastic throttle connector comes off I need this rod to be straight. I can't put much of a jog in the rod or i won't be able to thread it into the plastic connector. Worse, I need to send the engine in for inspection and startup. Once i cover the servo area up access will be extremely limited. I may have to leave the plane open until the engine is returned.

The plastic connector:

Glue drying, paint drying, moving to another area. Filling in exposed wood in the cabin. Working my way inside out.........

I'll let the glue dry then trim.
