What happen to the 1/4" balsa sheeting?

This sheeting? Trying to cover my abomination of a planking job.

Tank mount begets engine blind nut location concerns which begets proper engine locating concerns which throws this entire area into delay. The Kavan needs to be serviced and test ran before I commit so preliminary mounting then off to Mecoa it goes. I might risk working the cowl around the engine before I send it.

Future tank (fuel tubing swap out) may need to be from behind the engine. I could pre drill a 1"+/- hole and cap it it, fuel and vent tubing could come through that area as well.

Problem. Engine is bigger than cowl.

And I have an ignition problem. Maybe?

I'm going to try regardless but will need to make a mold before I start cutting.
