A friend of mine use to build war birds and he always use say they are never done you just at a certain stage stop adding details and fly the plane and continue the next winter.

I always thought war birds where "never" done because all the maintenance or repair between flights ???

Take the time you need and get it right, and so far what I am seeing , you are deffinately on the right track

Trailing edge was just a little bit too thick and after trying to sand it I decided to skim 1/16 or so off with my mini table saw. Much better.

I guess everybody gets to do this once in their lives. Those of us who build anyway. It's my turn. This is the 3rd attempt, I got it now.

Our local Mexican joint serves very strong margaritas as well. That’s why I usually stick to beer when I’m there. Except on the rare occasion I’m not the one driving.
