New Build Help

Hey Fella's,

So I want to build a new aircraft, but having trouble picking which one to do. So Im hoping I could get some input from you guys.
What Im looking at are these.

Extreme Flight 78" Extra 300 White/Blue/Black- ELECTRIC
3DHS 61" Extra 330 LT - Red / Blue Scheme would rather have the 75" Extra 330 LT - Red / Blue Scheme but it's not in stock.
RedwingRC 30cc EXTRA 330 - Blue

Which ever plane I wind up with I will say this. It won't be dedicated to just 3D. I like to fly fast and big more than slow and low so try and keep that in mind.
Any input you guys can offer would be great and thanks much for taking time to do it.

Just love opening a can of worms....

Well I always say bigger is better so get the biggest you can transport.... and can afford.... I am a Extreme Flight guy so the 78" Extra would be awesome and you can set it up to fly any way you want.... Just my 2c

I have been thinking about the same top two aircraft your looking at. Seems like the EF Extra 300EXP is the choice airframe. Although as Bipenut just said, I'm probably going to go for the 60" Extra 300.

Also the MXS seems to be a faster airframe... not to throw another plane in the mix, but I just did. ha!

I do think you will really like that 60" airframe... It flys on rails!!

I wonder if SupaTim is going to stock that airframe.... NorthWestRC is his site and it would save you a ton if he gets them in stock since he is in western Washington. He is Extreme Flight/3DHS west coast dealer.... You probably already knew that, but it would be worth an email.....

Well I have the 48" ver of the EF Extra and that little sucker fly's with absolute perfection I mean it truly is a dream to fly. I think it was you Biper that said it's big brother the 78" fly's even better. I know I keep leaning towards that one over the others. However the other two are still very appealing, just haven't flown them. The 61" I think would be as you say and fly like it's on rails and be a real nimble aircraft. I don't know about the Redwing. I think the 78" will depend mostly on getting the power right. I read somewhere some folks said it seemed like they could never get enough power to it. Don't know man.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the planes you have listed. I have built 3 RedwingRC planes and can vouch for the quality. I have heard good things about EF and now that they own 3DHS, I would assume those are good as well.

I do like that Redwing includes CF parts with their kits and you don't have to purchase them as an upgrade.
