Everyone at our club runs them dry after the fuel tank is empty...kinda like you do an outboard boat engine..everyone thinks the ethanol causes diaphragm degradation...I've heard arguments for it and against it...an ex-club member who works for Sears on lawnmower and small engines claims you should always run off the residue fuel. I've done it both ways and it seems I have much less trouble starting if I don't run all the fuel out.

I have never counted.... I just flip till it starts with the choke on then flip till it starts with the choke off. If I forget the ignition off and flip a few times it seems to start faster when I remember to put the ignition on.

I've said the same thing...I guess it's a matter of convenience...we have a few ethanol free stations not many and they 're not on the proverbial beaten path LOL. I never bought into the ethanol thing...just hyperbole IMO.

O.s 33gt 5 flips top choke pop then 3 flips to start Backwards Then kill it. 1 flip to starts backwards And repeat and repeat and repeat and yay there it goes the right way.
