So me and @pawnshopmike are here at eFest covering the event for you guys and didn't want to keep you guys waiting to long for pics.

I'm running out of battery, so I'll just give you some teasers for now

After making the 10 hour round trip yesterday, recouping a bit this morning, downloading and sifting thru a few hundred pics......we are ready to show the world!

Keep in mind, I'm not a professional photographer and do not own any professional grade photography equipment, only a 16mp smartphone lol



Hobbico was there in full force showing off all their new goodies and it appeared their main focus at eFest this year was drones(multirotor). They had booths setup for people wanting to learn how to fly drones(multirotor), you started on the simulator and worked your way up to actually flying a real drone(multirotor) inside a cage, pretty cool!!

Art Pesch, Hobbico's senior manager of service and support met us at the door, gave us a nice tour of the event and then let us loose to take all the pics we wanted. Art is a very helpful and informative guy! If you have ever asked for donations for your events, chances are you dealt with his wife Carol Pesch, I know I have LOL. Art told us that after 32 years(I believe) at Hobbico, Carol retired back on January 15th 2016. Congrats Carol!!!

JR was on hand to show off their stuff, that 28X is pretty sweet. They also brought along what appeared to be a vintage transmitter, but upon closer inspection, it had all modern electronics and gimbals. Old time feel with all the modern amenities...NICE!!!
