I've been flying an 87" Extra with a DA-60 on it and the power is awesome.

OK guys....Last few days have been good. I was able to finish the plane. All that is left is I am waiting for the spinner from Tru Turn. I ordered it at the Toledo show and it will be here Friday. Note DO NOT order a Tru Turn Spinner at the Toledo, it will take you 2 weeks to get it.

So here are pics of the last few days.

Got the motor back from DA.


Installed Throttle servo and linkage



Cut and installed the cowl



Installed Fuel Tank and plumbed



Installed Switches



Wired.



Plane all done..Just need spinner and balanced



Was also able to run the motor for the first time since its return from DA.

So I am hoping Saturday to get to Maiden. Will uploaded maiden video then

I love TT but +1 on ordering from them at Toledo. It's a great way to save some coin, but you better be patient. Last year I ordered a new back plate from them at Toledo, they only charged me $15 for shipping and all but took almost 3 weeks to get it.

I ordered an anodized blue 4 inch ultimate from them...It is a 140 dollar spinner, got it for 90 plus free shipping.. if I get Friday...it will have been a 2 full weeks

Got out to maiden mine today!! Only two flights so far because I had three planes out for testing and tuning but wow what a blast. Flies just like the big one....only smaller. Sweet little airplane for sure. Got a little vid as well loading up for tomorrow.

So now you've had a limited time on it, do you think you would have as much fun with it if you had, say an eme 60 in it?

Hard to tell, now that I have a couple of DA70's I will never own another smaller single. I flew one flight on one with a DA60 and it was a good combo for power.
