Just went out it the field and to road was dry enough to get in , talked to the guys and discussed airframes and how Jtec and Carden were the best in the business with the quality and help to the builders .

I'm going to have to charge up the Extra SHP 30% and get my finger back into the groove , rub off the rust as my Dad would say .
Have to get a 5 gallons of VP racing fuel C9 or C10 and mix up some ethanol free fuel and go and test run the plane DA

If the weather holds out for the week then maybe by weeks end or next week.

See you been out flying the new Carden , sounds like small triming and your good to go

Seeing we both live in Canada we're or from whom do you buy your VP fuel from. Do you feel the difference with VP and regular fuel or do you just do it not to have alcohol in the fuel.

There is a VP racing Fuel distrubutor in Calgary beside the International Airport . Well the octane is higher is and there isn't ant alcohol in the fuel that will screw around with the rubber embrane in the carb that adjust the fuel flow into the venture . I'm tired of not get a constant setting on the carb and i have noticed from video from DA that they to are using canned fuel not from the gas station .
Yes the cost will be three time what premium gas and it won't go bad like gas goes after 5-6 weeks , i think its worth it

Just talked to VP fuels and they suggested the T4 fuel with 100 octane will do the trick .
Your going to have to search where a dealer is closer to you .

ya i just ordered 5 us gallons for 115 with gst so it's going to be $6.08 per litre and the VP rep said it does go bad like pump gas does .
Got a 5 gallon on order so 7-14 days

Thanks that is good to know. The closest VP dealer is 230km from where I live so I am going to have to find another way.

I don't know if you have Sunoco fuels nearby? Their "optima" fuel under race fuels is another excellent choice and is what I use. Works great, no alcohol, and most importantly - when it evaporates, so does the smell.
