Just a perfect day at the field yesterday... real treat to be down there... just me and crazy John.

I was just in love with his 3DHS DA-60 Extra... it flew so great... at first I thought it was too small to see, then I just flew it in closer, that took care of that problem.

I thought it was just Pilot RC with the bad hinging... here's my H9 Sukhoi after 35 flights... the hinges pull out clean, just like the Pilot RC planes. Same oversized slotting and same shiny hinge with no glue on it.

I like that Pilot RC lets me glue in the firewall... I liked that AW let me glue in the hinges. I wish Pilot RC would let me glue in my own hinges and they can spend that time sanding down my inner wingtubes until my wingtube fits.

OFF TOPIC, FOOD PORN. haha

Here's what's important, though... the wife made tacos last night! She takes fresh chicken and grinds it up with the meat grinder attachment on the KitchenAid. Then "saute's" it in EVO (not the engine, fellas! extra virgin olive oil!), with seasoned pepper. Fries up the tortillas in a cast iron pan, sharp cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, hot sauce... life is good!

It may very well be that ZDZ is the only engine manufacturer still testing their motors before they go out... "known good" is a beautiful thing.
