I've heard of many stories, usually with out this stroke of good luck, so in an attempt to avoid this situation I keep all bolts and keepers in a servo box in the plane. It's not ready to fly until the box is empty.
This is really a good idea. I have a partitioned organizer I keep all my planes' hardware in. But as things go, I could end up leaving it behind because I always overthink myself and inadvertently leave something behind.I've heard of many stories, usually with out this stroke of good luck, so in an attempt to avoid this situation I keep all bolts and keepers in a servo box in the plane. I may just have do this too. A piece of Velcro attached to the inside of the airframe somewhere. A container with the corresponding Velcro attached to it as well. Hardware in container, container in fuse on Velcro. Problem solved.
I am kind of phsycic like that. LOLHey Stangflyer,
Get out of my head ! ! ! !............................ Seriously, I was just thinking the exact same thing, even the part about using Velcro to hold the box in.
I do the same thing, but not until I forgot the hardware for BOTH planes in the trailer one dayI've heard of many stories, usually with out this stroke of good luck, so in an attempt to avoid this situation I keep all bolts and keepers in a servo box in the plane.
