On the third flight on my OMP Yak 55 120cc plane back a few years ago I left all four wing bolts out of the plane... I took the plane off turned hard left and did rifle rolls on the back side. Notice at the end of the downwind it was rolling funny. I thought a servo went out....turned a quick base to final and it acted like it was WAY out of trim... I landed and when I turned around to taxi back one wing popped out of the wing socket....Lets just say I was really lucky.

Brings up a good point. One of the reasons this happened is I had a few people talking to me while I was putting my plane together. Today I will be kind of quiet if people come up to talk to me while I am putting a plane together....

This is really a good idea. I have a partitioned organizer I keep all my planes' hardware in. But as things go, I could end up leaving it behind because I always overthink myself and inadvertently leave something behind.

I may just have do this too. A piece of Velcro attached to the inside of the airframe somewhere. A container with the corresponding Velcro attached to it as well. Hardware in container, container in fuse on Velcro. Problem solved.

Get out of my head ! ! ! !............................:LOL_gif: Seriously, I was just thinking the exact same thing, even the part about using Velcro to hold the box in.

I do the same thing, but not until I forgot the hardware for BOTH planes in the trailer one day :)

About the Velcro, just started trying that technique because the used EF Yak I bought 3 weeks ago had a big patch of Velcro sitting unused in the fuse. But I'm struggling with keeping the Velcro attached to the servo box because the Velcro is bonding to itself so well.

I've tried CA and when that immediately I sanded the box then rubbed down with acetone and tried goop. That's just about to fail. I guess epoxy is next.

I picked the trick up from SMJ aka @shadow1100
