2-56 is a pain to work with I will avoid it if I can just to difficult to work with.Managed to get the three pieces back into one. There are 20 2-56 blind nuts and screws holding it together. Tried to put all of the screws in the same location as the full scale. There are more on the bottom than the top, I guess the top is the last piece to install? Still picking the thick CA off my fingers! Working with 2-56 is a real pain.

That engine just looks perfect. It is always nice to receive a four stroke like that cannot wait to hear it.Cut out 1/4" plywood firewall and mounted the cowl to it. The lower half gets bolted on from the front of the plane, then the bowl section, finally the upper half gets bolted to the lower half and bowl, there are 4 4-40 screws that get tighten form the interior that fasten the upper half to the fire wall.. At least that's the plan. Look what the postman delivered today. I sent an email on Sunday 3/3/19 checking price and availability, here it is today. Got to work a few details out to mount the engine, the intake manifold and carb are right where the mounting lugs are, looks like an engine box and standoffs are in order. The overall engine length is longer than cowl so box will protrude into the interior, should be interesting. The width is perfect, 1/4" clearance on each side. That is really easy fit plenty of space below the engine for a nice big box muffler.First the bottom section is installed. Three 4-40 screws on each side.

Then the nose bowl. A bunch of 2-56 button heads.

Finally the top goes on, more 2-56 button heads and four 4-40's from the back side. Still need to make a hole for the carburetor and velocity stack to poke through. Then make a box to seal the cabin area from the engine. Traveling to Lebanon PA for the Central PA Aeromodelers Swap Shop tomorrow. It's a little over 4 hour trip one way, but it is one of the biggest in the north east, 41,000 square feet, 602 spaces. I don't expect to accomplish much tomorrow, I'll get right home at Miller time. Last year I found a spare fuselage and cowl for my Byron Glasair build. Hopefully the Glasair will get painted once the weather breaks.
