Wings had some broken ribs so I cut some new ones and clamped and glued again. Then test fit the wings to make sure everything was going to fit. Starting to look like an airplane again. :)

On to the cowl. The only uncut cowl I could find was the wrong color scheme and had evidently been kicked around some. Repaired broken sections with carbon fiber tape on the inside for strength and lightweight body filling compound. Also strengthened the round front with carbon fiber tow. Split the cowl, cut out for engine head and exhaust

and then painted. Checkers on a round cowl are a pain.

Holy crap...would ya look at that. Pretty darn sweet. Just out of curiosity, Do you know if there is much difference between the 33%SD Yak and the 33% TOC Yak? I found a dang nice one that I would really like to acquire. TOC that is.
TOC Thunder Tiger and SD are the same airframes.
