Work, work, work, play and then a lot of life has been going on. All I have left is motor set up. Everything else is done. Maybe this weekend.

Not too happy with the switch - I cut the hole too big so it looks like a hack...but it is sturdy and functional...I will pretty it up later...just trying to get it ready to fly right now.

I just got off the phone with justin from vital-rc and I will be using the new booma rc dual redanant pin flag switch in my upcoming build

I want to see some pics of your cowl! How much did you have to cut to get the DLE and GP engines in there?
I was doing some advance measurement last night and it looks like I will have to have a cutout underneath the rectangular chin hole to accomodate the cylinder of the GP-61.

my standoffs are a bit longer than Gyros...40mm for me, 33mm for Gyro...if I use shorter standoffs, do you think it will make that much difference or will I still have to cut?
I don't mind the 1/4" spinner gap especially since I'm going for a nose-heavy configuration so I have room to move things around if necessary.

Haven't got my replacement cowl yet, still waiting. Planning to cut the broken cowl this weekend, will post pics when able.

nice to have a "throwaway" cowl to experiment on!

I'm so dreading the idea of cutting into that work of art!

Hey guys, do you guys know of any videos of this plane besides the factory and rd prototype vids. Just curious to see this in the hands of some regular guys.
