Here's a few pics of mine. Definitely dig the gear legs also recommend a way to charge batts on the go. I usually start them when I leave for the field and they're done when I'm ready to put my planes together.

Well, it really all depends on how big a trailer you have or need. Size your truck to the size of the trailer. Keep an eye on tow ratings.

Im looking at for next year or so a fresh new trailer gussied up by the folks at TailDragger RC trailer finishings. Looking for something in the 18-22' range. Along with that, my newer Shevy Silveraydo (Bobby Possum Cods). Had outta be more than enough truck for the gig. If I dont find an 18' I dont like I'll drop down to a 14' V Nose slant top.

Here's mine that I built this spring. 24x8.5 room for 2-35% on top deck, 2-40% on bottom deck , then 2-30% behind them with the wings still attached behind them. Heli's go inside the aluminum door up front and wing bags go between the decks in the rear.

Thanks Chad! I'm just overcompensating for a lack of flying skills with a fancy trailer, I figure if I can't fly like a pro, I can at least look good doing it.

I'm liking that red/black scheme you have going, just throw in a little diamond plate aluminum and you'll be set

Mine"s pretty plain at the moment, after owning for 8 yrs it's time for some new wheels and tires, Just realized it came with p (passenger car) tires from the factory. Good thing I never actually used it much!

New wheels/tires next wk. Time to hook up the heat/air and make it a little nicer like some of the trailers I see the rest of you with. Planebenders comes to mind!

I called the company and spoke to the owner (?), Glenn Davis. He was awesome...the product comes in 25 gallon quantities, and they will break that down into 1 and 5 gallon quantities (be warned it isn't cheap...$125 per gallon plus shipping). I am mostly interested in the insulation value (R30) but the sealant characteristics are also desirable since I have a seemed galvalume roof.

It is very easy to work with ( I used a brush and roller but it would be awesome to spray if you have the equipment). I applied one layer, waited awhile for that to start to set up, then I just dumped the rest of the gallon on the roof and spread it evenly with the roller to finish the job...It is thin enough to spread easily but thick enough not to run or move on it's own (self-levels fairly well). I estimate I have a layer that is approximately 2X as thick as the 10mil thickness recommended (I have less than 60 sq. Ft. of roof, and it is supposed to cover 120 sq. ft per gallon).

The insulation results are stunning. After applying it during a trip to the field where the trailer sits in the sun all day you can't leave your hand on the interior bare aluminum walls as they are too hot...but the roof, with FGI-4440 on the exterior is only slightly warm!

I am very pleased with the results!

That's pretty cool, do you have to etch the bare alum roof before application? Any idea if it's suitable for a walk on roof?

Rogo! I think I'm gonna stick some diamond plate on the cabinet doors..

And hey I have a smaller trailer now so I am defiantly having to be confident not only in my flying but manhood!:)lol
