I use the relay to switch from 12 VDC power to 12 VDC converted power when the relay sees 110 VAC from the generator. The 2A charger on the left charges my 50AHr battery when the generator is running. I added a switch to turn the relay on/off because there was a delay before the power converter supplied 12 VDC. I would lose my radio settings because I didn't hook the memory wire direct to the battery. So I haven't hardly used the power converter at all. I just use the 12 VDC from the battery even when the generator is running. Usually when I have the generator hooked up I just use the 110 VAC for my charger.

i got an idea from a friend, who told me about solar panels. this is my set up. i have the trailer inside lights run by the hook up with my SUV. these lights will only turn on if the truck is on. what i did is i added 2 LED lights, one in the front and one in the back. then i added two female banana jacks, one in the front and one in the back, for charging my airplane batteries. i obtained a solar panel and connected it, as per instructions, to a deep cycle marine battery. i have added a high amp switch to turn on the LED lights.

anyone know this one:??

i have a LArk 16 x 7 trailer with two axles. i am using 15 x 5 rims

and the wheels are trailer wheels at 205 x 75 x 15.

anyone know what the air pressure should be in the tire??

these are new, and i notice it seems like the wheels bounce more than the stock wheels.

Depends on the load rating of the tire. It should say on the sidewall. I have load range C on my single axle and they say 50 psi. But we do not haul anywhere near max load of these trailers. Also makes a difference if you have radials or the cheaper bias ply.

With that being said I run 35 psi with radials and like the way it rides.:smile-new:
