Show Me the Biplanes!!!!

I built a Sheber Pitts that was the same way. Everything was way to thick and in some areas to many parts. It does fly what most call heavy but to me it feels more scale like. In other words it will not take off in ten feet and has to be flown back to earth with some power/speed. I say go for it, you have nothing to lose and if the 30 is border line then go with the 35cc. Mine called for a 35cc ish and I went with a 55cc twin, love the plane.

I have built my share of heavy planes in the past beefed up every thing then Fiberglas it filled the weave painted it and then clear coated it. This is many years back and as you said you need a little speed to land and take off. It is note a 3 D machine just a good flyer and it is bi-plane that looks good and flys with some character.

WOOW WOOW WOOW!!! I love Stardusters!! I started building a full scale SA-100 when I was 14 but unfortunately I got to tall to fit in it and had to sell it before I finished. If I ever give building full scale another go it will either be a Starduster Too or a Skybolt.

Is this the Brisigella or the plans from RCM? I have a set of the RCM plans.

That top wing looks AWESOME, but it also looks like it would be a real PITA to build. More pictures PLEASE

That is one nice looking plane is that painted or plastic either way it looks good, would you mind if i ever built the Super Stinker if I copied that scheme. Orange is my favourite colour.

Look up Don Bates Starduster on Google, use tail number also.This is fabric and 27lbs with se-112. I was able to meet Don and he was thrilled to see this plane. He was a flight engineer for TWA 35 years and had never seen rc planes.
