Below is a web address for a petition that is being circulated on various online forums to try and keep Section 336, the special rule for model aircraft, intact. At this point is has come under fire from several commercial entities who want it completely done away with so that commercial drone operations can take place in the airspace that models currently operate, without fear of interference from the models that we operate. The petition needs 100,000 signatures in 30 days to even be considered. It currently is well short of that, but every little bit helps. I signed the petition nearly an hour ago but have yet to receive the confirmation email.
I also sent a link of it to everyone I know that is in the hobby in any way, shape, or fashion. But if it is not counting the votes because of the lack of verifications it is a mook point.

Just got my email. Took a few hours.
